Senior Software Developer
Lead delivery of licensed applications, from architecture and review through production, with Claude Code and Cursor as part of the engineering practice.

The role
You will be the senior engineer at Granius Ltd. The company licences specialised applications to operators who run them under their own brand. You will take products from development through production on Vercel, maintain a coherent TypeScript, React and Next.js codebase, and support a junior developer. The role requires strong independent programming and a high standard of work in Claude Code and Cursor.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end delivery of one or more licensed apps: Next.js fronts, Node services, data stores, and deploy.
- Set the engineering bar: reviews, types, tests, observability, and what is allowed into main.
- Write production TypeScript, React and Node yourself — including the unglamorous work of debugging, migrations, and incident traces.
- Run Claude Code and Cursor as a force multiplier: agents, plans, multi-file refactors, and evals of generated diffs. You remain accountable for every line.
- Design data models and access on Postgres / Supabase and MongoDB Atlas as the product requires.
- Mentor the junior developer: pair, review, and teach both hand-written craft and disciplined AI use.
- Help sequence product launches and keep white-label variants from forking the core.
- Keep secrets, licences and customer data out of prompts, logs and public repos.
What you must have
- Several years shipping production web software.
- Expert-level TypeScript and JavaScript: types, async, performance, and debugging without a model.
- Strong React and Next.js (or equivalent), including App Router-era server and client boundaries.
- Solid Node.js. You can design and operate HTTP APIs, auth, and background work.
- SQL (Postgres) and comfort with a document store (MongoDB) — you can model, query, and explain trade-offs.
- HTML, CSS, and accessibility good enough for professional B2B UI.
- Highly proficient in Cursor in a real codebase: agents, rules, and reviews of generated changes.
- Highly proficient in Claude Code: long-running repo work, tests, and refactors you can defend in review.
- You can take a feature from blank file to production, and you can take a model’s patch from “looks right” to “is right”.
- Clear written English. You will write specs, licence-facing copy, and review comments.
Nice to have
- Vercel, Supabase, and production MongoDB Atlas.
- White-label / multi-tenant product experience.
- Python for analysis or data jobs on the market-data products.
- Prior work in fintech or research tools (software, not regulated advice).
- Hiring or mentoring a junior before.
- Right to work in Cyprus or elsewhere in the EU.

- The interview will include live coding without AI, a system-design conversation, and a session where you drive Cursor or Claude Code on a Granius-shaped task.
