Junior Software Developer

Contribute to licensed applications in TypeScript and React, using Claude Code and Cursor as standard development tools.

The role

You will join the engineering team at Granius Ltd, which licences, brands and delivers B2B applications across bond analysis, sentiment, alerts, CRM and operations. You will take ownership of assigned work, submit pull requests, and participate in code review. The role requires independent TypeScript development as well as effective use of Claude Code and Cursor.

What you will do

  • Implement UI and API work on Next.js / React / TypeScript products under review.
  • Write, read and debug code by hand: functions, types, tests, diffs, and production logs.
  • Use Cursor and Claude Code every day — agents, inline edit, repo-wide refactors — without pasting secrets or accepting unverified output.
  • Keep Git history clean: small commits, named branches, pull requests that a senior can review in minutes.
  • Work against hosted services we already use: Vercel, Supabase, and MongoDB Atlas.
  • Help brand and white-label interfaces so an operator can run the product under their name.
  • Document what you shipped in plain language for the rest of the company.

What you must have

  • You can write JavaScript and TypeScript without an assistant: types, async, modules, and basic data structures.
  • You can build and change React interfaces (components, props, state, forms) by hand.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Git.
  • Highly proficient in Cursor: Composer / agent, inline edit, and reading the file tree — not only chat.
  • Highly proficient in Claude Code: repo tasks, tests, and multi-file changes you can explain and stand behind.
  • You know when to use the model and when to type. You do not ship code you cannot read.
  • English strong enough for pull requests, specs, and customer-facing copy.
  • A GitHub, GitLab, or portfolio with work you actually wrote.

Nice to have

  • Next.js (App Router) or another React meta-framework.
  • Node.js APIs, Postgres / SQL, or MongoDB.
  • Tailwind CSS.
  • Any shipped personal or freelance product, even a small one.
  • Right to work in Cyprus or elsewhere in the EU.

How we work

  • Company tools include Claude Max, Cursor, Vercel, Supabase and MongoDB — billed to Granius Ltd, used on company accounts.
  • The interview will include a short live coding pass without AI, and a short pass driving Cursor or Claude Code on a real task.
  • You work in a small engineering team. There is no large process layer.
